Growing Up Portsmouth
Growing Up Portsmouth is a community-created portrait series celebrating the people who have shaped Portsmouth NH over the past 50 years.
Local Dwellers

Large-scale portraits, each painted by 100 participants, come together as a mosaic of styles and perspectives. Each part is distinct, yet each contributes to a greater whole — a visual expression of community itself.
Short interviews accompany the finished artworks, offering personal stories and historical context that deepen the exhibition experience.
